wow...been planning on doing close to the exact same thing for like, 7 years now.... still haven't done it cause i've been waiting for the perfect time (and money) though, hehe. where did you get your reference for the drawing? been looking for a good one myself.

Well, I've had a pair of crow wings hanging on my wall for the better part of a year. Then recently, a friend asked for a tattoo of crow wings and I thought, "thank god she didn't ask for Ostrich!". No, I just thought it was convenient that i had them there. As it turns out, they're too detailed for a tattoo.

No such thing as too detailed.... your friend will just have to get a larger tattoo ;)

where on earth did you get crow wings? i dont even know where to get them for research purposes, neverminds as a collector's item.

Its a pity that they're too detailed for skinwork... they'd be magnificent. Oh, the drawbacks of blurring and fading over time. I design tattoos and I keep having to explain too much detail is an enemy.

All the same, lovely shading and detailing.
